Heather Crowe

Heather is a specialist paediatric physiotherapist. She completed a BSc in Biochemistry at the University of Bath and an MSc in Physiotherapy at King’s College London. Heather began her career as a physiotherapist at the Children’s Hospital in Oxford and completed paediatric rotations in musculoskeletal outpatients, inpatient orthopaedics, cystic fibrosis, acute respiratory and oncology. Heather is currently working for the NHS within the paediatric rheumatology, sports and chronic pain team in Oxford, and also provides evening outpatient musculoskeletal physiotherapy clinics for children and adolescents at TOPS Health.

Heather is a keen triathlete. In 2021 she completed her first Ironman 70.3 triathlon and has her sights set on further Ironman triathlons and ultra-running events. Combining her love for sports and her career as a paediatric physio, Heather has developed a special interest in injury prevention and sports rehabilitation in children and adolescents. Heather is currently training as a Pilates instructor and is preparing a Pilates programme tailored to runners, children and adolescents, with the additional aim to prevent sporting injuries in the paediatric population.
