Sara Fernandez PalacioWomen’s Health Specialist
In 2005 Sara graduated as a Physiotherapist in Barcelona. She worked in Spain for 2 years and specialised in postural rehabilitation. In 2008 Sara moved to France where she become interested in women’s health and trained in pelvic floor rehabilitation and hypopressive gymnastics with Marcel Caufriez. It was by coincidence that Sara discovered Pilates in 2014 during a three-day workshop for physiotherapists. This course opened her eyes to the wide world of rehabilitation through movement and she decided to complete her Polestar Rehabilitation Pilates training. Her aim is to teach her patients and Pilates clients the important role of movement in rehabilitation and show them that life is much easier and pain free when you are able to move freely. Sara has experience in supporting breast cancer patients post surgery to include lymphatic drainage and scar massage. She also treats pelvic girdle pain during pregnancy by Pilates stability and movement exercises. In her free time, Sara loves being outdoors, reading a good book in a park, hiking or just discovering the UK with my van. Sara travels as often and far as she can and loves exploring new countries, people and cultures.
