Appointment Cancellations

When an appointment is scheduled, this allotted period of time is held exclusively for the patient. We therefore require 24 hours’ notice to re-schedule or cancel appointments to avoid incurring a cancellation fee up to the full cost of the booked appointment. Reminder texts/emails are sent to reduce the chance of you missing your appointment. Most insurance companies do not pay cancellation charges and therefore patients will be invoiced for these directly.

Appointment Payments

tops:health accepts cash, cheques and all debit/credit cards including American Express. Payment for sessions must be settled at the end of the appointment unless you have pre-authorised treatment with an approved third party. No refunds can be provided.

Discounts Offered

Discounts are offered to full time students for Physiotherapy and Sports Massage appointments throughout the week and at all three locations, except on Saturdays. Corporate discounts are available on request. For further information please contact tops:health.

Insurance

tops:health is recognised by and works with all major insurance providers. It is the patient’s responsibility to ensure private medical insurance cover is adequate to pay for treatment. We ask patients to contact their insurance company before commencing treatment to clarify any restrictions on their policy and to gain a pre-authorisation number that will allow you to access physiotherapy. Should any claim be declined in whole or in part, the patient is required to pay the outstanding balance in full.

Pilates & Yoga Classes

Classes can be booked as individual as well as multiple sessions within a term. Details of class dates and times may vary from time to time and are published on the website or are available from reception. tops:health reserves the right to change or cancel classes at its discretion, and will endeavour to give clients as much notice as is reasonably possible. The online class schedule will aim to be accurate as possible but is subject to change.

All class bookings must be paid for in full prior to participation. Blocks of classes are valid for 3 months and are non-refundable, non-transferable and non-extendable. Class cancellations may be subject to a cancellation fee equal to the cost of the class. If you purchased a block of classes then a class credit will be deducted if you fail to notify tops:health or cancel your booking online within 24 hours of the class. If you have not arrived by the time the class has started your space may be opened up to allow drop ins and this will be treated as a late cancellation. If you book online and do not attend a class 3 times over a month period, the option to book online will be suspended for a month.

Each client agrees to familiarise themselves with what classes they are fit to participate in and clients should refer to the website or speak to reception for further information. Clients are advised not to undertake any physical activities without first seeking medical advice if they have any concerns over their physical condition. Clients are responsible for informing tops:health class instructors of any change to their health that may impact their ability to participate.
