Anne Alexander

Anne graduated from The University of the West of England with a 2:1 BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy in 2001 and an MSc in Advanced Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy from UCL, London in 2007. Since 2003 Anne has worked in musculoskeletal outpatients, with a special interest in hand therapy. She is now a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist in Hand and Plastic Surgery Therapies in the NHS. Anne is an expert in the management of common hand and upper limb injuries (including but not restricted to) repetitive strain injuries, finger dislocations and fractures, carpal tunnel syndrome and arthritis, alongside complex upper limb injuries, such as brachial plexus injuries, complex thoracic outlet syndrome, shoulder dislocations and associated nerve injuries, complex elbow reconstruction, hand and digit replants, revascularization and associated tendon and peripheral nerve injuries. Anne manages our private hand and upper limb clinic and works in Summertown on a Saturday morning.
